My visit was fabulous! My food was excellent and plenty. The service was prompt and joyful. My daughter's nachos were over cooked but she ate what she could. That was the only thing that doesn't rate a 5 star but all of the rest did! It was warm and peaceful back by the fireplace. A very wonderful first time being there for me! And the birthday cheesecake slice was a perfect ending! Thank you!

Had four meals delivered last week with 2 bottles of wine. Everything was delicious. Two delivered to us and 2 next door. Then we called on FaceTime and had a wonderful birthday dinner together. Thanks to son joel who ordered and prante’s for making it happen. It was perfect! I’d advise any one to try it!

Great service and food.

I dont live in the area, but I like to stop when I can. The atmosphere sets a relaxing elegant mood. Wait staff- bar staff always very friendly and attentive. Food is amazing! Good job managment

Great food and service. Unfortunately, you'll be sitting on top of each other. The bar is small but good and the main restaurant is almost too formal and too open. Someone walks in the main door and everyone eating in the main restaurant turns to look. :(

Food was simply amazing. Prices very reasonable .service a tad slow but super friendly.....we did come around 8, so maybe end of shift but the food was so worth the wait.

Good buffet style food in the upstairs meeting room. Bar and wait staff were nice and helpful.

The service was horrible! I was the only one in line and it took them 10 min to come out from wherever they were and then said you can sit anywhere. I sat for another 10 minutes(i timed the wait) and finally got up to leave and the server looked at me then turned around. I said can i get waited on? She then said oh i didnt see you! Really? When i finally got my salad the lettuce was brown and had pieces of black wilted lettuce in it! I got a burger with no bun. This place got busy during my visit and honestly i dont know why. Service is bad and the food was just average to below average.

Prante's has always had and still has the best food in Wahpeton-Breckenridge. Casual or up scale a great place to eat and have a few drinks with friends.

Had lunch with my sister at Prante's yesterday. I love a good Reuben and they had one of the best I've ever tasted. The corned beef was plentiful and very tender. The service excellent. I will definitely be back for more!

They needed more bartenders in the bar. There were eight of us out for dinner on New Years Eve, the food was excellent, the drinks were excellent, the service was very good (they were really busy) and the decor was very good.The prices were excellent. I will go back again.

Love this place. I always have the scallops. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. A real treat!!

We absolutely love their food. Also the coffee is excellent

The food was was ok, prices were decent. The biggest issue we had is that it was obvious that the food was done at different times. The bun on the burger was soggy, and the pizza was just out of the oven. The atmosphere is a little bland (if it matters to you), no pictures on the wall at all.

Got here at 3:45 PM on sunday says it was suppose to be open. Not open, was hoping to confirm the good reviews.

Just had a wonderful experience! My server Angela made the perfect suggestion for my meal. The service was quick. The food was prepared in perfect time, by the time the appetizers were gone the salad was right there and the main course came moments after. I would absolutely recommend this place to my friends and I will definitely be back.

Having grown up in this town Prante's is a bit overrated for fine dining. For the price, the food is perhaps subpar, though still good. The service however is fantastic and the bar is also quite good, but I wouldn't come here for a meal necessarily. I will say though, that their battered walleye is pretty good, and that they have pretty good decor.

Crab on veal oscar was artificial crab!, Garlic mashed potatoes were runny and flavorless like instant. It was not even close to a memorable meal. Will probably never return to this restaurant.

Excellent service with and old style classic menu. Steaks, Pastas, seafood... With great service and a laid back atmosphere.

Prime rib was excellent, friendly, cheerful and fast service

Waiting for service and other customers came in after us and were served first, we ordered at the same time and they were finished eating by the time we received our food. Besides the food taking 45 minutes (not busy) and smart remarks from the server the food still wasnt very good, never had experienced this kind of lousy service.

One of my favorites. Great food. Sometimes the service is poor, however, depending on who is waiting on ypu.

Our son is allergic to milk, eggs, peanuts, and peas. Last year Prante’s catered a meal and the owners made sure he had food he could have. So we happened to be in Wahpeton again for military duty and my husband ask the owner if they could have something our boy could eat for dinner one night we were in town. When we showed up, they had made a menu with his name on it! This Is the first time in his whole life he has ate at a sit down restaurant and was able to eat a whole meal!!!! They are a family friend restaurant that will bend over backwards to make sure everyone can eat and feel welcome. Anytime we are in the area we will be stopping in for sure for a meal and delightful atmosphere.

Food is always good, staff is friendly and atmosphere is good.

First time I ate here was tonight. Had a burger, expecting an ordinary Cafe burger; the burger was way more then what I was expecting. Very good, just like a small town bar burger; which are the best. The burger was exceptional. The service was also good considering we ordered 10 minutes before closing and were still allowed to finish our burgers before leaving 10 minutes after closing

Young waiter was rude, did not get order right then argued with us while lying saying he asked something he did not. Then made snarky remarks the rest of the evening. The chicken was rubbery and cold, the asparagus was flavorless. Worst dining experience in years...we won’t be back!
